ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE

Graduation project made at the Royal Fine Arts Academy of Brussels

My graduation work has evolves around the encounter between my practice of drawing and my textile affinities. I've changed figurative codes  taken from my sketchbooks of Asia, to retranscribe them into a more "textile" language through the technique of jacquard weaving, to give shape to new motifs and thus creating abstract landscapes.
